Pappas Heart, the Womb of Life

I was commissioned to paint a view of God’s heart for the fellowship hall of a church back home.

I did not really begin to paint until I was almost 50 after taking my one and only course thanks to my workplace at the time. From the very first stroke on a canvas, it seemed like each application that was placed, was actually a prayer. Every painting I have done has been a result of praying with a specific person or theme in my heart.

When this invitation to paint the heart of God, The Father’s Heart came, it was to be placed in a fellowship hall, and my heart leaped because I know He loves fellowship. I actually painted this one I am sharing today, The Womb of Life, now called, CHOSEN, as my practice one to gain His heart for those who would see the resulting trio that developed. Those will be shown in other heart notes here one day.

As each brush stroke was applied I knew this crimson color was the foundation. As I pressed in to know the reality of Daddy-God’s heartbeat, it seemed what was developing was an expressionistic view of the organ of a heart. I could see developing some darker strokes appearing as veins and arteries popping up, and deep inside light was emerging. Then one day as I stepped back to gaze on what was developing, I could see, the supposed heart, now appeared to be actually a womb, with New Life inside!

Therefore, it was as if God Himself declared, “My heart is the womb of life!”

All I can say in summary of this post is, “I DO BELIEVE”

Here, come hear with me, for THE HEARTBEAT OF HEAVEN is all you will find on my blog
